World of Warcraft Item UpgradesThe upgrading of your items is an essential part of equipping your character. Upgrades boost the base damage and the enchantments of items.
They also offer bonus effects and enhancements. They can be purchased from the Blacksmith.
The upgrade button is available on any item. Each item recycled adds a level to the gauge of upgrade.
Weapons
When an item is upgraded, it gains a base damage bonus as well as an increase in the scaling factor that affects other stats. The weapon could also gain a variety of upgrade components, which provide additional attributes or effects, and some have distinct cosmetic effects. These upgrades can be added to armors, weapons trinkets, gathering tools, and trinkets. Most require that the item has an upgrade slot and meet certain requirements. Once a weapon or armor piece is equipped with an upgrade component it, the item can be replaced with another, but the prior upgrade will be destroyed (except for legendary equipment and upgrades). Upgrade components can be retrieved by using a Black Lion Salvage Kit or Ascended Salvage Tool, or by using a salvage tool of high-end quality on the item itself.
A weapon can also be upgraded to include a Calibration attribute that increases certain stats, such as Weakspot damage or Crit Rate. This is accomplished through the Gear Workbench's interaction menu. Depending on the weapon tier, this can be done up to four times.
After the weapon has reached its maximum level of improvement it can be reforged to add different bonuses and effects or improve specific stats. These upgrades can all be applied simultaneously and their effects will differ based on how rare the weapon is.
Two Blacksmiths can perform these upgrades in the game: Blacksmith Iji on the Road to the Manor Site of Grace and Smithing Master Hewg at the Church of Elleh hub. The upgrade materials are both different: Smithing Stones to modify the kind of damage weapon does and Somber Smithing Stones to modify the standard weapons.
In general, it is recommended to upgrade weapon damage first, then armor defense, and finally the other secondary stats as required by your build. In particular, it's common to see melee druids enhancing their weapon before they upgrade any other gear, as this helps maximise DPS. This is especially applicable to enchantments that enhance a weapon's stats and damage.
Armor
Item upgrades allow players to improve the base stats of certain armor pieces trinkets, weapons, trinkets, and gathering tools. They can also provide additional effects like increased damage or cosmetic enhancements. Item upgrades are available through crafting, buying from NPC vendors, loot drop or as rewards for quests.
The upgrade of armor can be done by visiting the Armorer NPC and spending appropriate currency. In most cases an item of armor will be upgraded to the next level after an upgrade is applied. This is possible for any type of armor, however some items cannot be upgraded at all (such as the armor that is used as a starter in Great Sky Island).

The majority of armor upgrades boost the strength or defense of an item by a small amount. However, certain upgrade components can give significant enhancements to strength or defense, particularly when upgrading an item that is epic.
In addition to increasing the defense of an item, a few upgrades also provide specific abilities that can be activated when wearing an armor. These abilities can be useful in combat, for instance providing a boost to attack speed or blocking. Certain upgrades provide passive effects that can be beneficial for example, decreasing damage when wearing armor or enhancing the chance to dodge an attack.
Upgrades to armor could require several attempts, depending on the type of armor. For instance for instance, if a player wants to upgrade the strength of a Steelclash armor to Dragonscale, the first attempt will result in a brand new piece of Dragonscale with a base defense between 59 and 67. The second attempt will result in the creation of a Dragonscale armor that has an initial defense range of between 67 and 77.
The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild lets players upgrade their armor sets up to level 4. To upgrade their armor, players must visit the four Great Fairy Fountains located in the game. Each of these locations houses the power of a fairy who can upgrade one piece of armor for the player.
Contrary to what many believe armor isn't useless in The Division 2. The truth is that certain armors come with very substantial boosts to poison or curse, fire, or magic damage reduction, which makes them invaluable for specific builds. Additionally, there are ways to improve armor stats beyond the use of upgradeable armor, such as the engineer trait to increase armor penetration, or the challenger trait to reduce total weight.
Potion
A potion can be upgraded by placing it in an brewing stand in order to unlock new effects. The upgrade unlocks another effect tier, and is able to be repeated to unlock more potencies.
The potions also gain an individual color, which can be set by the player using the /give. The color affects the effect clouds' area-of-effect as well as the arrows generated. In Bedrock Edition the custom potion color is also applied to the particle effects of the potions.
The water bottle, mundane and thick potions as well as awkward potions now have a new brewing texture. Add potion of weakness and healing potion in the Creative inventory. The potions are lingering and can be brewed with splash potions or dragon breath and a strong potion with the status effect Mining Fatigue (duration 4:00). Problems related to this update can be tracked on the Bug Tracker.
Trinket
A trinket can be described as a small inexpensive piece of jewelry. It could be a ring, necklace or even a tiny flag to mark a boat's yard that is lateen. It could also refer to an gilded trinket connected to the mast of a boat.
This bizarre trinket seems to be influencing denizens in this maze by making them more prevalent. At the moment, this trinket makes all kinds of mimic Xx more common and gives each floor a Y% chance to contain an ebony-colored mimic. Upgrades to this trinket require an amount of energy.
The magic of the enchanted Scepter appears to influence the dungeon and increase the likelihood of generating water and grass. This trinket at the moment, will cause X% of the regular floors to be filled with water or grass. upgrade item will not affect enchantments, glyphs, cursed weapons or armor or other items that are created to aid in the elimination of danger rooms.
While it looks like the normal eye of a newt this mysterious object appears to be affecting your vision in ways that go beyond just reducing your field view. At the moment, this trinket increases the overall health of the drinkers of healing, waterkins, and wells of health by X% and gives you vision on enemies within Y tiles. This trinket does not stack with the Increased Senses.
Skull Cavern is where you will find Trinkets after completing the Mastery Cave. You can find them after defeating Monsters, and in chests and crates. They are not found in the Mines or Volcano Dungeon.
If you find a trinket that needs to be upgraded then place it in the Anvil to do so. This will create a random effect on the trinket, either prolonging its life or enhancing its effects. You can reorge the Trinket multiple times as often as you like, but it will always have an effect that is different from the one it was when you forged it.
You can also upgrade your Trinkets at the Alchemy Station by placing them into a Magical Catalyst. This will cost you 6 energy and increase the power of the trinket by just a little.
