Then slide the cover back towards the key-ring loop until it loosens and then slides off. Remove the cover to reveal the hidden key blade. The unlock button can also be used to open the windows on a hot day or to let in fresh air prior to getting behind the wheel. Note: Some older Volvo models have a different type of battery which is the CR2025. CR2025 batteries are 7 tenths of a millimeter thinner than a CR2032 battery, and you will need to be aware of the location of your replacement.
